Excellent location, great service and very clean!

Our stay at Hotel Grotta was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived until the day we reluctantly departed, every member of the team demonstrated remarkable hospitality, professionalism, and genuine warmth. A special thank you to Dimitri, who handled our transfers and transportation with efficiency, friendliness, and absolute reliability. Connie at the front desk made us feel immediately welcome and was always gracious, helpful, and attentive. The wonderful ladies who oversee breakfast deserve particular recognition for creating what may well be one of the finest hotel breakfasts we have experienced anywhere in Greece. Enjoying breakfast on the terrace while gazing at the Portara and the sparkling Aegean was simply magical and became one of the highlights of our visit to Naxos. The rooms are comfortable, thoughtfully appointed, and impeccably maintained. Housekeeping was outstanding throughout our stay, with exceptional attention to detail and care. What truly sets Hotel Grotta apart, however, is the people. The entire team consistently goes above and beyond to make guests feel cared for. Their warmth feels genuine, and their commitment to service is evident in every interaction. We left with wonderful memories, deep appreciation for the staff, and every intention of returning. This hotel is an absolute gem.

What a fabulous hotel! We stayed 5 nights here whilst on Naxos. They offer a free transfer to and from the port. It is situated up the hill from the old town - about 10-15 minute walk. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, they will help you by recommending restaurants and places to visit ( a trip to their olive oil museum in Eggares is well worth a visit) We had opted for a second floor room with sea view - it was spacious, extremely clean, had a large balcony with table and chairs and overlooked the temple of Apollo and harbour - it was great to see the sunset from here. The hotel also has a furnished roof terrace which is a great place to see the sunsets too. The infamous breakfast was fantastic - so much choice of delicious homemade food.
