We had a really lovely time at this hotel. We paid for a seaview family room and it was great, overlooking the rock pool and amazing views to wake up to. I'm aware there are rooms which do not have a great location so would recommend paying the extra. We met a lot of people moaning but my thoughts are, this is the cheaper end of the market and they have to provide what they can with the money they get, there was 4-5 choices at dinner which I found all acceptable, some were delicious, the mousaka was great. The breakfast has also been slated but once I got my head round the fact I wouldn't get a decent fry up I really enjoyed the yoghurt and honey and the variety of pastries.
The hotel was cleaned constantly and the room cleaned 6 out of 7 days. All the staff work incredibly hard, they don't get a day off for 6 months and remained helpful and cheerful despite some guests being really rude. special shout out to Sayesta on reception who was so friendly and cheerful all the time.
We hired a car and saw so many beautiful places around the island. Food is cheaper inland, the sea view tavernas were too expensive for us when we could eat the hotel food. Myself and my 2 16 year olds had a great time. Only thing that could have been improved was a bit more entertainment in the evening, but it's what you make it.
