Lindos Village

Just returned from a weeks stay at the Lindos Mare. We had a fabulous time. Upon arrival we received an upgrade, which was unexpected but much appreciated. Thank you! The hotel is in the great location with amazing cliff top views across the bay. The hotel is built in to a cliff and there fore there are a lot of steps but fortunately served well by a series of lifts. There is a gorgeous pool area, and it also has its own beach. Both have really comfortable sun-beds. My own preference was the beach . The food was delicious. We had breakfast and evening meal. The staff were outstanding. Everyone was so helpful, friendly and courteous. A credit to the hospitality industry. We had a particularly delicious meal at the Pelagos restaurant which stunning views as well as picture perfect food. The hotel was also spotless clean throughout. Although only a short drive into Lindos itself, and we did visit a couple of times, we found the hotel was perfect place for us to relax and chill. We very much hope to make a return visit.

We have just returned from the Lindos Mare, having stayed for a week in mid July. This was our first visit and hopefully it won't be our last. We have had the most wonderful time and cannot fault this hotel. When we arrived we received a room upgrade, which was great and much appreciated! Thank you! The staff were all amazing; kind, attentive and helpful. A credit to the hospitality industry. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout. The food was excellent. We were booked for the half board package, having breakfast and evening meal. We didn't really do lunch, but did make use of the drinks service. In particular we had a delicious meal at the Pelagos restaurant. The food was picture perfect and tasted just as good. Just lovely from start to finish.

This hotel is a real find. Most people have commented on the food it really was the best food I’ve ever tasted on holiday. The buffet was great but you also get the option to order from a menu for table service which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was superb and the coffee is offered the second youre shown to your table. Make sure you book the Al a carte mouth watering food. Vouchers given for any meals missed and you can swap your evening meal for a lunch. We did this so that we could travel to Lindos for dinner. We had a junior suite with sea view it was huge with a massive balcony room 132 I’d recommend. Bed was a little hard for me but that’s personal preference. Housekeeping team does an amazing job everything spotless. Beach is just lovely a little pebbly although I didn’t need my beach shoes. Lots of beds and I don’t think you’d struggle at any point of the day to get one. Pools are lovely we used the main pool it’s a relatively small pool but we could get a bed after breakfast. I would say that now the school holidays are in full swing it was getting a little busier as we were leaving. Had a lovely night at the Idols entertainment night really fantastic singers we missed the drifters night but it sounded good. Spa was lovely and very relaxing. Staff were outstanding couldn’t do enough for you. I’d recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay. We were there for one week and I think this was ideal. Due to the hotels location there maybe isn’t enough for us to do for two weeks (again personal preference) we did book a boat trip and booked this with the hotel and Lindos is a 10 min taxi ride away. All in all 5 stars from us 😊
