Stayed at Ether Sunset Oia from 5 to 8 July. If you are looking for a full view, unobstructed view of the famous Oia sunset, this is the place for you! You can enjoy it at comfort of the patio outside your room, by the pool or anywhere around the hotel. When everyone is rushing to find a place to view the sunset. We enjoyed it at comfort of the patio outside our room, by the pool, really anywhere around the hotel. Sophia, the receptionist/concierge/server is beyond helpful. She can take care everything pretty much for you. From wine tasting reservation, car rental and even application for international drivers license. We decided to rent a car (glad we took Mr Tukiss advice.) She helped my husband got an international drivers license on-line in less than an hour. And even arranged the car dropped to the hotel. She is definitely made for the business! I can see her running her own place. Mr. Tukiss (hope i spelled it right) the owner gave us several helpful tips and Margarita is very helpful also. The hotel is simple but comfortable and clean. No full service restaurant nor bar but Margarita can fix you something. The hotel is not far from center of Oia and Ammoudi Bay. Good place. Really good people!

We have been at Ether Sunset for just one night. When we arrived we have been assigned to a room that was nothing of the pictures we saw while booking on booking.com. The room was located next to a warehouse, in a courtyard full of animal excrements and used as a deposit for cleaning tools. The interior was furnished with second-choice furniture, decrepit and without any coherence. In moment we entered the room there was a giant moth fluttering in our direction due to the oppressively low ceiling. We had a terrible night.

This is our 3rd visit to Santorini but first stay in Oia . We booked this hotel for 5 people who wanted to be close enough to Oia but not in the middle of the madness. Also the price was excellent value . I wasn't disappointed it was perfect . The welcome was usual as we were lucky enough to travel and not to have our holiday cancelled during the covid crises . All safety measures in place , temp taken on arrival. the rooms were huge and we had fridge and air conditioning if you needed it. No kettle or hairdryer but Id brought my own. The owners and staff were great and I felt that you could ask for anything . They had a good sense of humor as well. the pool was cleaned on a regular basis During they day the pool was empty and it felt like a private villa with waiter service. If you want 5 star Luxury this isn't the place for it . book one of the places around Ether .If you want authentic and lovely staff this is your one. Would definitely stay here again should we return to Oia. Thank you for looking after us and making us feel welcome
