The Meli Meli is only about 200m away from the Oia footpath, which was the decisive reason for us to book here (down the road, towards Oia, then left at the tavern TASOS, and you are about halfway along the Fira-Oia footpath). This is fantastic to walk on!
The Meli Meli has two penthouse apartments that are rented out, each with two rooftop terraces offering a beautiful view. The apartments are equipped with a small kitchenette (the furnishings are simple but charming).
The best part about Meli Meli is KATERINA, the good soul of the house, who tries to fulfill every vacation wish.
We booked the rental car with her for three days and also extended it for one more day. This went very smoothly and was also cost-effective.
We also booked the sailing tour through the caldera with Katerina, and she took care of all the organization, including rebooking due to illness.
Since Katerina is not on-site every day, she offers that you can reach her anytime via WhatsApp. We took advantage of this and felt very well taken care of, almost like with friends.
