Splendour Resort

We had a fabulous time at this hotel. The room was very spacious and the food was excellent. There were always beds available by the pool and the hotel staff were amazing and always very helpful. Great location for fantastic restaurants, cocktail bars and the views are amazing both in the day and evening. Very relaxing stay in beautiful Santorini.

Certainly not five stars, three at most. Be careful when choosing the room: what is sold as a "partial sea view room" remains very partial, you really have to look for it, that view. If you are looking for a beautiful view of Santorini, keep looking. As for the rooms without a view, you get more of an impression of being in a cave. The "cozy family" room is cozy in name only: it is really anything but cozy, you would think you were being punished rather than on vacation, more of a camping bungalow room atmosphere. Another big disappointment: the jacuzzi. It is a real rip-off, without any privacy since it is installed in the entrance walkway, right in front of the door. Plus it is tiny, it looks more like a basin for rinsing your feet (or washing the dog) than a real jacuzzi. Rooms sold with a jacuzzi are therefore clearly not worth it. The only rooms that are really worth it are those with a private pool. Positive points nonetheless: the breakfast, very good and well varied, and the bed which is super comfortable.

I wouldn't rate it a 5 star hotel maybe 3 The pool is nice but no nice outlook, the bar is very expensive. The room is spacious with a nice Seaview but basic considering size. Location is good
