Thalassa

We loved the location on the beach and just a few minutes walk to all the local restaurants and markets. The pool area was ok and the bar on the beach was nice. Cheap drinks. Buffet breakfast was pretty average but it was all clean. The room we stayed in was generous sized but the decor was dated and the beds were really uncomfortable. It wasn't cheap as it was peak season so it was a little disappointing The planes literally fly over the resort so its very noisy. It would be ok for a night or two

Still not sure how I feel about this place. When I stayed with Contiki, the wifi was pretty bad and the airport is very close by so you feel the shake from them. You have to get a bus into town as it is not located centrally. The hotel is on the beach, black rock/sand beach which is private.

I can’t believe they give themselves a 4 star rating! When I was shown the room I was so disappointed! The room was very small, with no outside daylight just 1 dim bulb same goes for the bathroom it has no daylight, no air vent and just looked very unhygienic. Me and my husband actually booked into another hotel the same day and cancelled this hotel, the thought of sleeping on two single beds and using that bathroom gave me anxiety. Please do no be fooled by there pictures!
