Villa Michalis

Terrible experience. We book for full board and only upon arrival are we informed that even water with meals is not included and you have to pay for it. The owner's fake happiness upon our arrival faded the moment we decided to buy drinks outside the establishment. Sheets not changed and stained with mold. We rent a car through them. At the time of signing the contract, we are not informed of the car drop-off time, which for them had to be returned at 9:00 AM, and upon delivery at 2:00 PM, we are asked for the cost of an entire day. Not recommended also because of the location and the adjacent beach

Our stay at Michaelis was great. Everything was fine. All staff are very nice and funny. Wonderful how you're taken care of. They help very well and give great tips. The food is also excellent and typical Greek.

Staff- lovely especially our waiter. Location - good. Near the beach and harbour and a couple of restaurants. Use the small train on the beach to get to more lively beaches with more food choice. Room. Very basic and dated. Asked for a twin, got a double bed with bunkbeds. Not ideal. Very clean. Fridge and aircon. Got one bottle of water in the fridge which was not replaced. No tea and coffee facilities. Shower screen instead of a curtain would be preferable but was ok. Water glasses were not washed up each day. Beds uncomfortable and pillows lumpy. Nearby dogs barking most of the night and can hear your neighbours very clearly. Balcony nice to sit on. Pool and out door areas - lovely. Plenty of sunbeds, very clean and waiter service for drinks. Food. Breakfast, plentiful. You get a tray with lots on it. However we were only offered one tea or coffee, I need my morning caffeine! Fruit was on another table but we were not told to help ourselves and that it was for us. Dinner. we had this as part of our package. Limited choice for vegetarians - salad or pasta. We were told which dishes were/not included. Starter and main. Pay for dessert and drinks separately. Average food but plenty of it. We ate elsewhere also for a change. I think there are little tweaks that could be made to make this place much better.
