Amalthia Studios

Just got back from 2 weeks at Amalthia studios 3rd -17th June.These are lovely apartments basic but spotless Set in a lovely courtyard with all amenities 5 minutes walk away.Firstly if you want full self catering then these apartments are not for you Basic 2 ring hot plate but adequate enough for small snacks.,but plenty of restaurants around to eat out.I would have given 5 stars but they do need refurbishing but was told by Yannis the owner that they were doing them all next year.cannot understand the bad reviews as well found these apartments perfectly adequate for our needs.Would definitely stay here again

We were apprehensive staying here having read some bad reviews. Our stay was mainly positive. The accommodation was very clean with a comfortable bed. The cleaner came daily was very friendly and did an excellent job. Bed linen and towels changed twice during our 7 night stay. The price included air con and a safe which lots of places charge extra for. The location was great, only a short walk to Skiathos town centre and Megli Amos beach. This is not 5 *boutique accommodation but good 2 * Greek studios. In our opinion it offered excellent value for money.

Location excellent for short walk to town, accommodation shall we say rustic, air conditioning not working was unsure how to complain no one on site, balconies very small not room for 2 to sit comfortably (room6) and loose top railings sold as self catering but the 2 hobs were so small you couldn't get hot enough plus side good sized newish fridge freezer shower good pressure and hot but no hook for head so one handed shower
