My wife and I have just returned from five nights at the Mandraki Village hotel. We stayed in a pool view room number 705, which was spotless clean as were all areas of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and the price of the drinks being reasonable for a hotel. The main bus route stop was less than five minutes walk and a cost of 3 euros for the half hour ride into town. There are a few restaurants near the hotel and the nearest beach is about a 15 minute walk. The staff were always polite and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel for a quiet peaceful stay.

Visited June 26 with Tui. This was based on photos on both Tui and hotel own website . So wished had chosen an accommodation I knew from working for Thomas Cook such as Atrium . Expensive holiday clearly and obviously not worth the money paid . Room was dark dingy like an 90’s bedsit . Bathroom not modernised either .Only two sockets with two grotty bedside tables which obviously had to be removed if you wanted ie charge phone or hairdryer. One other socket but this was for the rickety old fridge which was noisy . One small wardrobe could barely open one side die to bedside table . Such a small space we basically lived out of cases. This double superior room certainly wasnt the luxury promised by both Tui and hotel . Those showed bright rooms pastel shades lovely light and spacious . Took this up with Tui .. not interested . Hotel said the usual “ you had what you booked “ “ all the rooms are like that “ Attitude stunk in all honesty . Showed photos of booking confirmation wouldnt even consider that i clearly was proving that room was not what they gave me . Despite lots of photos showing the obvious differences between what booked and what received . Shame on them . You spoiled a holiday booked for a special occasion . Never again Tui . Luxury hotel ? No. Have been advised to take this further . One word : Mis-Sold. Days of the package gone for us now .

Always wonderfully welcoming. The staff are so attentive and the ethos of the hotel is very caring. It’s immaculately clean and the public areas are cool and comfortable. Our room was immaculately clean, with a lovely bathroom, and complimentary toiletries. We had a great view and a comfy bed, with a balcony that was perfect for late afternoon drinks. We ate in the restaurant a few times and the food is excellent, as is the buffet breakfast. The emphasis is on using local ingredients and everything is very fresh. The bar staff were very helpful when my husband hurt his wrist, finding an impromptu ice pack, which was much appreciated. We love the gardens, the pool area and the surroundings of this hotel and it makes an ideal base for walks to Koukounaries harbour and beach and the beautiful Mandraki pine forests that give the area its name. It’s an easy walk into Koukounaries to visit other restaurants and bars and ther is a very frequent bus service to take you elsewhere on the island if you should want to explore further afield. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else…and hope to return next year. Thank you.
