A great stay at a lovely hotel. From the moment I contacted the hotel, in advance of our arrival, to the moment we left the hotel we didn’t have a single issue. The honesty bar, the comfort and availability of sunbeds, the heat and power of the shower, the friendliness of the staff, the decent size pool etc etc all confirm why the hotel scores so highly in reviews. The hotel has such a chilled vibe. It’s relatively secluded position at the top of a hill means it’s quiet and the benefit of the hill is the beautiful views across the bay. The mixed nationality of guests is lovely and means that there is a regular turnover of new guests, so no mass arrivals and departures from the major tour operators. Pool and beach towels are available to hire for 2e. The pool area was very clean and the our rooms were well maintained and cleaned almost daily. Despite have an early evening departure we were not able to keep our room later, however there is a luggage room and shower room available which was absolutely fine. The family who run the hotel clearly take a pride in the accommodation and the happiness/satisfaction of their guests, we found them to be friendly and very helpful. I’d be surprised if we weren’t a returning guest at some point in the future.

We have just spent a fabulous week in room 106. The hotel has everything you need and the most amazing views. We ate the Thai food one night and my husband said it was better than anything he’s eaten in Thailand. Beware of the hill! It’s really not for the faint hearted. If you’re not fit, it would simply not be possible and you would have to pay the €10 taxi fare.

A gem of a hotel. Room 101...although the room is a little basic in furniture, the beds were so comfortable! It has a good sized fridge, bottle opener, wine glasses etc. On the good sized balcony is a table/chairs and somewhere to peg out washing. Everything you need, alongside an incredible view of the bay. The room was kept spotlessly clean and nice little touches were made by the cleaning staff, to make the room pretty. Okay, you can't flush paper down the toilet, but this is Greece. The bathroom, again, was kept spotlessly clean. The pool area is a real highlight. Wonderful views of the sea from all areas. Excellent sized pool with graduated depth for you to be able to get in a good swim for exercise or bob about to cool off. Plenty of comfortable loungers with padded covers, as well as double beds with drapes. A covered eating/drinking area also offers respite from the sun, and drinks/food (Thai, prepared authentically by one of the family) can be ordered there. There's also a fridge with water, wine, beer and soft drinks on sn honour system (pay the next day if you take them after Reception is closed). Set up on a hill just above Megali Ammos bay to one side (less than a 10 min walk) and Skiathos Town to the other (10 to 15 min walk), it's a perfect spot. It's quiet but everything's easily accessible. It's worth being up the hill for the views alone! However, if you have mobility issues this wouldn’t be ideal, especially in the heat. but taxis are only €10 at night from downtown Skiathos Town. To be honest, the walk was good to work off all the amazing food. If you want to get around, a 5 min walk down the hill takes you to bus stop number 4. At the bottom of the first short hill, halfway into town there is a small supermarket for water and other essentials. Anastase, his Thai wife and the rest of the team are all so friendly and helpful. It's so relaxing here. We're already planning our return!
