Skiathos Palace

Great hotel and hard to fault. Staff were excellent, especially Demetra (guest relations) and Evgenia in the Pool Bar. A couple of minor negatives - only one pool with a very limited shallow end - not really suitable for children unless very confident swimmers as always out of their depth. The hotel has a wonderful location and gorgeous views and has been tastefully built into the hillside but this did mean a quarter of a mile walk from our room to the buffet/pool area, which was too much for my husband. Fortunately Demetra helped us get a more convenient room for which we were very thankful. The free shuttle bus service was a godsend as husband would definitely not have managed the steep hill from hotel to the main road and especially not the many steps down to the beaches.

What a wonderful hotel, and amazing staff throughout the building from cleaning team, restaurant team and reception team - big thanks to Demetra for all her guidance! I was last here in 1984 and 43 years later I return with my two boys and eldest’s girlfriend. Didn’t disappoint - the sea views were incredible, lovely pool area and while busy - very relaxing. Thank you to everyone who worked relentlessly to ensure we had a wonderful holiday. 😎👍🏻

The hotel is wonderful but if you want to go out to any tavernas they are quite some distance away Don't get too merry as the hill that you have to go up.is very steep. The beach that the hotels bus will take yoi to and from is very good but the prices at the beach are a rip off. 2 beds and an u.brella is 30euros a day and the beach bars are also a rip off and bloody awful. It is the very first time that after 2 days I've been looking at flights home. The hotel is lovely but that's ut.you can get a courtesy bus to Skiathos town but to return it's going to cost you 20euros. The tourist tax is very expensive .
