Hotel Casa Del Parque

Terrible hospitality! Casa do Parque cancelled our confirmed reservation only hours before our arrive, blaming a "system problem." No attempt to address or adjust the situation, just an email that amounted to, "oops, sorry. Nothing we can do." I believe they punted our reservation for a more profitable one. This company does not deserve to be in the hospitality business. Shame on them and anyone who supports such slimeball tactics!

A hotel located in a beautiful historic building in the heart of Antigua. The main square is 100m from the property, all the monuments of the city are within walking distance. The room is spacious, tastefully decorated and properly equipped. The room we occupied did not have air conditioning but it was not essential because the nights were cool in February. The exterior areas of the hotel are also very nice with a pool overlooking the Agua volcano. The front desk staff is charming and helps you book your transportation and excursions. The only disturbing point is that the hotel is close to a bar and there is a lot of noise until late in the evening. The management of the hotel is very transparent about this, it specifies it at the time of booking. The price of the room also seemed a bit high considering the cost of living in Guatemala.
