Colonial character and charm with a hidden courtyard. Very helpful staff and nice location right on a main tourist street. Very quiet. We actually stayed twice- coming back at the end of our vacation week. They stored our luggage from noon checkout until we left town at 9 pm. The only downside for me is that I prefer a softer bed.

Upon returning to the hotel on our second day of stay we found that there was no water in the room, even for tooth grooming. We waited several hours until at 11 am there was water again. The next day there was water, but no hot water. That's how it went all day. So there’s no use having a hot tub: no water, at least not hot. In addition, they only provide bottles of water for drinking on the first day. So if he's gonna be around for several days, he's in trouble. Finally, in their propaganda and photos they claim to have a swimming pool. It's a lie. That pool is in another hotel and if you want to use it you will have to pay in a fee. It is a nice hotel but without a fundamental service: water.

Friendly staff, very nice and polite. We loved the staff guy at night shift because he is always willing to help and try to make guest as comfortable as possible. We stayed at room #1 and it was good, nice double beds and very clean. They provided towels and essentials for all the days we stayed at this hotel. We are going back to Antigua and we already booked out last night at this hotel. The hotel has a wonderful location and they offer us 20% off in a nearby restaurant. I would recommend a mini fridge on each room because Antigua is a warm city and there’s no restaurant in the hotel so you might want to have a cold drink at your room instead of going out to find one. 100% recommended
