Villa Santa Catarina

I stayed here on my tour of central America. This is a lovely hotel, in a small town on the edge of a beautiful volcanic lake. I had a lovely and well equipped room overlooking the gardens and pool. Meals were taken on the terrace overlooking the garden and lake. A lovely place to return to relax in after touring.

Very picturesque! All impeccable, very friendly staff. Breakfast included is not buffet, it is a la carte. The village is very small but cuter than Panajachel and boats leave for the rest of the villages. More expensive to hire private tour from the hotel than from the port. The food in the restaurant is fine.

Superb Hotel, magnificent view of the lake and volcano. Very professional staff who are attentive to every detail, especially during meals. The setting is decorate with great taste! The garden is very beautiful with huge bright balloons, very nice pool but not had time , squirrels in trees.
