The location was great. The
The location was excellent, and the staff were very welcoming. However, the bar offered only a single brand of liquor, which was the lowest quality available, with no other options—just well drinks. Our room was chilly and had some insects, and overall it was quite basic. We were fortunate to have a room close to the beach, which was definitely a plus, as getting lost in the complex maze of rooms would have been frustrating. Massage vendors on the beach were permitted to sit within the resort area all day, which obstructed our view and made it difficult to relax or leave our belongings on the beach chairs. The buffet food was good with a variety of standard options. The pools were shallow, only about 3 feet deep, and there were no on-site restaurants. Despite some drawbacks, we had an enjoyable stay but would rate it above three stars.
