Holiday Beach Budapest Wellness & Conference Hotel

No service, no staff, they are sad for those who are there, sauna broken, the room terraces are empty without decor, one table, two chairs.😌

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. On June 20, 2026, after checking out and driving home, I realized that I had accidentally left my cosmetic bag and two gold necklaces in my hotel room. I immediately contacted the reception. They confirmed that my cosmetic bag had been found, but claimed that the gold necklaces were missing. It is extremely difficult to believe that only the cosmetic bag was found while the valuable jewelry that had been stored with it simply disappeared. To make matters worse, the reception staff refused to provide me with the contact details of the hotel manager or owner, and the receptionist ended the phone call instead of trying to resolve the situation. This incident has been reported to the police and is currently under investigation. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel, especially if you value your personal belongings.

We arrived early and paid 20 Euros to check in early and get into our room. I had to go back and fourth 3 flights of stairs back and fourth reception because the key card wouldn't allow us not iur room despite paying extra money to gain access. In tbe end they gave us a key after 4 attempts. The room was lovely and clean but had ants outside. Breakfast was a disappointment as limit options one day- off of a menu, I which the waiter pressured you into choosing and the other a good continental all you could eat?. No facilities like a pool or anything like advised and the place is quite run down. It is located in a suburbs of nowhere and apparently is a 4 star. I wouldn't give this place a 2 star. Staff were lovely but that doesn't make up for the rest. Our hotel apartment had a coffee/bar underneath, which was unused and no where for food in the evening. Unfortunately we will not be recommending or returning to this hotel again.
