Hotel Berg

A very pleasant hotel, which is very convenient for the airport. Our initial welcome could have been a little warmer but from thereon the staff would very welcoming. Our room was well-equipped and we enjoyed our evening meal, as well as pre-dinner drinks in the lounge, which overlooked the harbour. The complementary taxi service to the airport was greatly appreciated, especially as we had an early morning flight.

We stayed here for one night at the end of our two-week trip around Iceland, and it was the perfect place to spend our final evening. Its convenient location made catching our mid-morning flight the next day incredibly easy. One of the highlights was the breakfast. Instead of the typical buffet, we were served a beautifully plated selection of salmon, cheese, tomatoes, and hard-boiled eggs, along with fresh bread and a delicious berry smoothie. After experiencing breakfast buffets at four other hotels during our trip, this personalized touch was especially memorable. The hotel provided a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, making it a wonderful place to unwind before heading home. We highly recommend staying here.

Pros- cute boutique Hotel. Dinner was good but pricey, breakfast was nice. I prepaid for breakfast. Rooms are very comfortable. Betting was beautiful. Behind the hotel is a marina that you can walk around. And if you walk further down on the left, you could go in this small troll cave where they have a giant fake troll sleeping with a giant bed and giant shoes. So adorable. They have a free shuttle to the airport (hotel to airport). Cons- There is no Air Conditioning only but considering this is a cold destination that's not a bad thing but just be prepared if you like your room colder than it is, you can do nothing about that. No free shuttle from airport to the hotel. You must take a taxi. Cost is about $32 USD for an 8 minute drive. Uber does not exist here.
