Morningmaturinn is mjög goður and sundlaugin dásamleg. All is pure and both is good for the stutta heimsókn eller ættarmót. That which I found I liked was the lights of the room and the shopping room which I gathered.

Strongly recommend. The best You get for your mony. Very family friendly due to both indoor and outdoor recreational facilities. Cheap food from the menu but also very good facilities to cook yourself. Many charging stations for EL cars. Mountain bikes for rent or fishing a few hundred meters away. Icelandic countryside at its BEST.

The accommodation is in a former boarding school. The atmosphere was a bit uneasy at first, but that was because maybe only 4-5 rooms were occupied. The shower and toilet are in the hallway, which we didn't find annoying. There was a bathrobe in the room and we quickly got into the heated outdoor pool. First swim a few lengths and then sweat in the whirlpool. But no whirlpools, no bubbles. The function was probably broken. As an alternative to swimming, you can also let off steam in the large sports hall. Nothing is missing. Dinner is cooked personally by the boss and it tasted excellent! Especially the homemade bread!! There was nothing missing at breakfast either. We would love to come back, but unfortunately this accommodation will close in 2023. What a shame about the beautiful furnishings, the great building and the staff!
