If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. Our stay at Goan Heritage was a complete disaster from start to finish, and I am writing this to warn anyone—especially parents—to never book a room here. We traveled with our 2-year-old hoping for a relaxing family getaway, but what we got was a dirty, unhygienic, and frankly pathetic excuse for a hotel. First, the maintenance is appallingly bad, and the entire property feels completely neglected. The bathroom was filthy upon arrival—grime everywhere, clearly not scrubbed or sanitized in ages. When you have a toddler, basic cleanliness is the bare minimum you expect, but this place couldn't even manage that. To make matters worse, the room service is practically non-existent. Trying to get anyone to help or bring basic necessities to the room was an exercise in extreme frustration. The staff seemed completely indifferent to our requests, which is the last thing you need when trying to manage a young child in a strange, uncomfortable environment. But the absolute worst part of the experience was the dining. The food was completely inedible, and the hygiene standards are dangerously low. The overall quality was bottom-of-the-barrel, and to our absolute horror, we found flies in our food. Serving contaminated, low-quality meals is completely unacceptable, and serving it to a family with a toddler is just negligent. It is entirely unsafe and disgusting. Nothing about this hotel is child-friendly. From the terrible upkeep to the gross lack of hygiene in the kitchen, it is a highly stressful environment for families. Do not waste your hard-earned money here. There are plenty of wonderful places to stay in Goa, but Goan Heritage is certainly not one of them. I’ll be attaching photos of this disaster so you can see the filth for yourself. Save yourself the stress, the disgust, and the ruined vacation—stay far, far away.

Staff were amazing ! Nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had. Great location near the beach.

We vacationed at the Goan Heritage Hotel in February 2026. Overall, we have a pleasant experience and we recommend this hotel for its location and territory. Strengths : · Excellent territory: The main asset of the hotel is its territory. It's very green, well maintained, spacious and picturesque. A separate part is set aside for weddings and events. · Ideal access to the sea: The hotel is on the first line. You can get to the beach through your own gate, which is very convenient. The footwashing area at the gate is a thoughtful detail. · Excellent breakfast and restaurant service: The breakfasts were really good — hearty and varied. Special thanks go to the restaurant staff. Mr. Rosario (Mr. Rosario) greeted the guests every morning with a sincere and warm smile, creating a beautiful mood. We also really liked Mr. Pravin. Pravin) is a smiley, fast-paced man. All in all, all the staff of the restaurant works in a coherent way, we were very pleased. · Good work by maids: The room was cleaned thoroughly every day. Water (2 large bottles, enough), tea, coffee and sugar were replenished daily without our reminders. · Designed in-room amenities: We appreciated the air conditioning, fan and availability of a fumigator (electric mosquito repellent) – an important and caring detail for Goa. The sockets were good for our plugs. · On-site facilities: The hotel has a bar where you can buy refreshments, cocktails, etc. The swimming pool with umbrellas and sun loungers was a pleasant place to relax. Public sanitation facilities were kept clean. What to pay attention to (What can be improved): · Outdated rooms and noise: The furniture in our room was pretty old. Windows overlooked the roof and alley, which caused considerable noise on weekend nights. · Simple, coarse underwear: The towels were changed daily, but they were very washed and became stiff and spiky from frequent washing. Upgrading textiles would greatly enhance the comfort of hotel guests. Goan Heritage is a classic hotel with great potential due to its grounds and location. It offers good value for money, especially if you care most about sea access and spaciousness rather than modern room design. We were pleased with the rest and thank the staff for their hospitality.
