Costa Del Sol

I booked it after getting a good deal on DAE. As expected the property was good, neat and clean. However, this place is 8 km away from Margao Railway station and 2 kms away from the beach. It has mostly in-house residents and hardly 8 properties available for the rent. The food is highly overpriced almost double compared to the market price. When the guest left, none was available for the cleaning and they never cleaned the room. The staffs were good and hospitable but service was poor. They sent the food to the rooms but never came back to collect the soil plates, hence we had to carry and give it to them. It has a swimming pool, gym, and clubhouse but clubhouse too is mostly occupied. Being habituated by the residence, it has strict rules. You do not have the freedom to walk anytime. The place is good to stay for a longer time with family. you can visit north and south Goa and a cab on hire will cost you around 1500 (Dzire or similar) per day. Overall, a good place but consider the service and restriction.

Unfortunately we only booked a week here, we mistakenly booked elsewhere for the week following and couldn't cancel it or we would have stayed longer. The hotel is a little isolated but within walking distance of a grocery and a few small places to eat, but we rented a motorbike and could be in Colva town/beach within ten minutes. Shane and his wife were outstanding as hosts, going out of their way to accommodate us, all we had to do was ask or mention what needed or where we wanted to go and they were there with the answers. The guest house is very lovely, the pool pristine. We hope to return someday, and I would definitely recommend staying here to everyone!

Have been there for the last republic day long weekend.... Overall experience was really nice. Excellent apartment situated in calm and quiet area. Perfect place to relax and feel like home ! The host/owner of the place takes complete care and goes an extra mile to help you in any ways possible... Really liked the placr
