Fort Aguada Beach Resort (C)

Pros- Great add-on to the Taj Aguada guest. Good Service, decent High-Tea. Efficient pick up and drop off from Taj Aguada lobby. Nice gym and private pool for more exclusivity. Cons - Sofa seats insufficient and the air con not cold enough to battle the GOA heat.

Went to this hotel for 2 nights with friends to celebrate a birthday. The service was outstanding, the food excellent (especially the crabs at Morisco), the lounge pool was very exclusive. The place is very exclusive and the location is great. Went for dinner once at O’Reverie (outside restaurant) and that too was amazing. The food was very refined and the ambiance was very nice.

Aguada Hermitage came up during one of our random internet searches while we were looking for hotels in Goa.we get a good deal from Antilog vacations a online portal and travel wholesaler. We liked what we saw and enjoyed the reviews. We finalized this particular hotel in the Sinquerim beach area for our upcoming Goa trip. The travel agent antilog vacations booked us the tickets and we went ahead with the plan and left in 4 days. They too agreed that the Aguada was one of the finest in North Goa and we were assured of a good time. The hotel was around 50 odd kms away from the airport but the road was quite good and we did not feel the distance too much. The surrounding of the resort was near the Taj Goa complex and looked grand in appearance. The exact position of the resort was in a hilltop region and had a serene setting. The reception desk was located bordering the florist shop and the concierge desk. There were around 150 odd rooms which consisted of one, two and three bedroom villas. We got our rooms fairly quickly and the butler arranged our luggage. The view from the villa was exquisite with the Arabian Sea and the sun kissed beaches glistening in the horizon. The rooms had attached balconies and also had international direct dial facility. The waiters gave perfect service though we found the drinks to be a tad over priced, compared to what we were already paying for the rooms. The proximity towards the Baga beach also adds to the resort’s glory and it is also quite near to the markets. The shacks which are located on the pathway gives a perfect Goan feeling and we immediately felt at home. Thus the trip was excellent and we really enjoyed the Aguada Hermitage resort and would happily suggest the same to others.
