Oakland

I have meet with two of them, one is clueless and caused me to pay for whole two night which I didn't get refunded for by any means, and the other was careless because when I told him what his colleague did, he told me I can't do anything while he is his senior. Secondly, I was promised that the room is clean, but it was not. There smoke ashes on the ground and on the bed sheets and there was no towels in the toilet. Plus the kettle cover was broken. I had to call again the cleaning services to clean and I had to tell them what to do. Moreover, the cleaning staff will be in the corridor from around 11am till 5pm and there will be alot of noise. This hotel does not even deserve one stat

Stayed in Room 208 - in May 2022 (1). Ceiling fan makes a lot of noise. It is impossible to sleep in the room with the fan, if you require it. The constant sound of it is horrible and you will not get sleep in the night at all. (2). No hot water in the shower. So in the morning after sleeping in AC, if you need a hot water shower, you will be greatly disappointed. (3). The fridge in the room does not work at all. So if you want to cool your water bottle, you cannot do it. (4). There is no bath curtain in the washroom. So whilst having a shower, the entire bathroom is wet from the shower. (5). There is no mat outside the bathroom. So there is nothing to wipe your feet on. (6). The internet is pathetic. It keeps dropping. There is a separate Oakland Airtel wifi, which seems to be a good signal, but when you ask the reception for what is the password, they say we have to ask the technician. So you have to adjust with the other Wifi connections that are poor and weak and get dropped off. (7). When I entered the room, the first smell I got is of strong cirgarrete smoke. So if you aren't a smoker, too bad, you might have to live with cigarette smoke smell in your room. (8). The shower holder in the bathroom is broken. (9). There is no spoon provided to even stir your cup of tea or coffee, if you make it in the room. (10). The cupboard has only 2 hangars provided. So if you have more clothes to hang, you will be much disappointed. (11). Killed 3 cockroaches from the cupboard, with my slipper. That's my honest feedback and review of staying in Room 208, in May 2022, at The Oakland Plaza hotel, in Nehru Place.

Stayed at the Hotel in Jan for an office trip. The location of the hotel is very prominent on the main road. The room was a disappointment compared price we paid. The bathtub looked old and the there was some Leakage in the toilet. The complimentary breakfast was arranged in the next building. The breakfast was also nothing to rave about.
