Vanson Villa

Ho soggiornato alcuni giorni all’Hotel Valson Villa di New Delhi e mi sono trovato benissimo, camere spaziose e pulite, personale simpatico e collaborativo, buonissima colazione, ottimo prezzo, anche per lavaggio e stiraggio camicie. Di aiuto per muoversi a Delhi, capire le linee di metro e info varie, Aamiro che devo ringraziare per la sua cordialità L'hotel si trova in un quartiere molto frequentato di Pahargan pieno di negozi, ristoranti vicinissimo alla fermata del metro e del negozio di liquori e birre. Fantastico Hotel consigliato a tutti. Un caro saluto da Enrico di Milano. I stayed for a few days at the Hotel Valson Villa in New Delhi and had a great experience. The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent, and the price was very reasonable—even for shirt washing and ironing. A special mention goes to Aamiro, who was extremely kind and helpful with getting around Delhi, understanding the metro lines, and providing useful information. The hotel is located in the lively Paharganj area, full of shops and restaurants, and very close to the metro station as well as a liquor and beer store. Booked this hotel from some of the reviews. When we got to the hotel we thought what have we done, the surroundings outside the hotel not good at all, the street had loads of rubbish, just not great. The hotel inside was OK, not as aglamorous as the pictures on the web site. You would call reception to ask for loo rolls and Ice and then have two different people to bring them to your room and then jut stand there waiting for a tip. There were normally about three people on reception plus porters floating around, good knows what they did all day. Like I said the room was OK, walking the local streets wasn't very pleasant, so much rubbish, kids begging, and people following u to sell u something. Went.to go down a side.street and this guy said don't go down there it's two dangerous. We had booked three nights here but our plane was delayed so only had two, thank God as there is nothing to do. We used this as a base to go to the taj mahal which was amazing, if you go by train go first class, the breakfast was good, the experience great. Huge bolt on the inside of our door. Tje pictures were from out side our hotel.

The reviews here are misleading, if you leave a negative feedback you are asked by manager to amend the scoring. If you are happy to stay in a 3 star hotel then it’s fine but not to a standard of a 4 star hotel. Staff are commended for being helpful and always accommodating but rooms do need updating
