Grand Plaza Munnar

Really perfect budget hotel near munnar main town market. Everything is near by. Really up to mark breakfast and dinner. Neat and clean rooms. Staff is so polite and cooperative. A must stay budget hotel in 5000/ per night.

I booked Hotel Grand Plaza Munnar for 2 nights but had to check out after just 1 night due to a very disappointing experience. The rooms were not up to standard, with old interiors and poor cleanliness. The curtains were dirty, and overall maintenance was lacking. The restaurant was also unhygienic, which made us uncomfortable using the dining facilities. Although breakfast was included in our booking, we chose not to have it due to hygiene concerns. Despite leaving early, no refund was provided for the unused night by either the hotel or Agoda. I have attached photos for reference. On a positive note, the front office staff were polite and helpful. This is not their fault. We were charged ₹11,370 for 2 nights through Agoda, while the hotel mentioned their usual rate is around ₹4,000 per night, which feels overpriced for the quality provided. Overall, not a satisfactory stay.

Made a very good choice during our stay in vacations, We were two families and booked three rooms there. Wonderful ambiance and A1 services. Ample parking place. Only one drawback-- The connecting road has plenty of potholes, gives you real backthursts
