After a long day of travel, all I wanted was some rest. Unfortunately, the experience was awful from the moment I arrived. At check-in, I was made to wait for 15–20 minutes because of an "electricity issue" that was supposedly being rectified. After finally getting the room, I discovered that the air conditioner was barely working. There was almost no cooling and the airflow was extremely weak. I immediately complained. Someone came and attended to the AC, and it seemed to work for about 15–20 minutes before failing again. The room became unbearably hot and humid. In Mumbai's weather, trying to sleep without proper air conditioning felt like sleeping in a furnace. What made the situation even more frustrating was the response from the staff. Instead of acknowledging that there might be an issue with the AC or power supply, I was repeatedly told that I was somehow using or adjusting the remote incorrectly. Being blamed for a malfunctioning AC was both frustrating and insulting. I was also informed that no alternative room could be provided because the hotel was supposedly sold out. Whether that was true or not, the fact remains that I paid for a functioning room and did not receive one. Even the interiors were worn out in places Given the initial electricity issue at check-in and the repeated AC failures, it certainly felt as though there may have been some larger power-related problem in the property, although no clear explanation was ever provided to me. Instead of transparency and problem-solving, I was met with excuses. To make matters worse, the approach road and surrounding area are unpleasant, with poor surroundings and foul smells that create a poor first impression. Third-class hotel. Third-class hospitality. Worst service. A hotel's primary responsibility is to provide guests with a clean, comfortable room and a good night's sleep. This property failed at the most basic level. Save your money and book elsewhere. There are far better options in Mumbai that actually understand what hospitality means.

The worst hotel I’ve ever seen. The room was filthy, particularly the bed. There were yellow stains on the pillows and the duvet was dirty and was tied together. I don’t think the room had been cleaned and the bed had not been changed. It’s really unsanitary and gross and a bad experience for foreign guests and local visitors.

My stay was safe and comfortable at Hotel Airlink. Staff were very courteous and helpful. The room was very neat and clean. Hotel location was absolutely fine next to domestic airport. Hotel view, ambience and food everything was perfect. I was very happy for their service....
