The Royale Jaisalmer

a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The staff is very polite, helpful, and professional. The hospitality and service were excellent, making our stay truly memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay!

We spent two nights at the Elite Castle Hotel in Jaisalmer, but unfortunately our stay was anything but pleasant. Rooms & facilities: The rooms are spacious but unfortunately not clean. The bathroom is large but old – broken fittings and in need of renovation overall. There is no fridge, but at least working wifi very well and there is a TV. The beds were quite soft, which is a matter of taste. Noise level: Since our room was on the ground floor, we had only six hours of rest between 01:00 and 7:00 – between 07:00 and 01:00 it was loud throughout. Those who value restful sleep should prepare for it. Breakfast & hygiene: An absolute minus was the cleanliness in the restaurant on the roof terrace. The kitchen seemed so unhygienic that we didn't want to eat there. A masala chai was served to us in an already used, dirty cup. After our complaint we got a new drink, but still one of us had stomach problems afterwards. The tablecloths still had food scraps from the predecessors stuck on them, which were not removed the next day. Personnel & communication: The staff is very friendly but the communication was difficult as hardly any English was spoken. Conclusion: The only positive was the nice staff and good wifi. But due to the lack of cleanliness, noise level and poor communication we can not recommend this place.

Just what you need. Very kind staff. Spacy rooms with comfortable bed. Bathroom outdated but everything works. Nice food on the rooftop restaurant with very nice view over the town and the fort above. Location is perfect. All you want to see is on walking distance. Good priced. I enjoyed the stay. The owner has a dog, but one that is really sweet that won't bother you.
