Surya Kunj Homestay

My partner made the best decision to stay here. We had great great time with Mr Sajjan and his wife in their beautiful compound. His companion is so lovely and friendly. We feel we are like family. So homey. The room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is so yummy. He has good advice to get the best kebab. After one year stayed in his home stay, we are still happy to talk about our time in Jodhpur, Mr Sajjan and his wife and his dog and Surya Kunj home stay. If we plan to visit Jodhpur again, of course we ll stay again at Surya Kunj.

Surya kunj is exactly the home stay I had been searching for across places since long time. We never felt that we are not in home being there. Very affectionate host who is himself a very knowledgeable person and gives time to all guests sharing stories of Rajput valour and about Rajasthan. A must place to go and stay if you want to explore the city of Jodhpur and nearby. I would like to visit again and again. Thanks for the great hospitality

We had a great stay in this family-run home stay. Downtown Jodphur is busy and noisy so having somewhere quiet and peaceful to stay out of the city centre chaos was wonderful. Walking into the house we immediately felt relaxed and at home. Sajjan is an excellent host who was always on hand if you needed anything, as well as having some great stories to tell. We had dinner here one night and the home cooked food was delicious. Rooms were nicely furnished and comfortable. Compared to other places we stayed in India, we had some quiet nights and great sleeps while staying at Surya Kunj, And you can get views of the Fort from the rooftop terrace. Highly recommended.
