Hotel White Conch Residency

Location is near to M.G.marg Property and room size are good. But very bad service. We booked 3 rooms with family group for 3 days but checkout in 2 days.They can not manage to start tv in 2 days. Furniture broken, bed sheets and towels are torn. Not enough normal water in washrooms. Every morning before start your daily routine you need to check that water is there or not. And calling is not effecting to manager. And when we go personal staff were making laugh of us. Restaurant very bad and smelly, food taste wrost. We order some food at 8.0 pm and they forgot to prepare after 2 hours at 10 pm when we ask again for the same they told now it will not possible. Child had to sleep without food. Never go here to spoil your vacation.

Our stay was 18 nov to 20 nov at the hotel and our stay was memorial 😊 and hotel location was not far from the man market Mg mark and specially Mohit and Bijay thank you for making our trip wonderful and memorial and food was to delicious thank you Mohit for providing us delicious food allover our stay was wonderful and all staff behaviour was polite and friendly thank you hotel team for making our stay wonderful I specially recommend this hotel to all my friends and colleagues to come here and see the beautiful place in Gangtok ☺️❤️

1. Hotel Location is very bad, every time you have to climb 94 Steps (I counted) and steep road to reach MG Marg. Elders please avoid. You can’t get any cabs from hotel place as it’s one way. They will charge any amount between 150-300 Rs. 2. Rooms are very dirty and moist, Fungus is all over the ceiling. Chances of getting ill is high. 3. Manager is very negative person, talks always negative about Gangtok and never arrange local ride from him you will regret. 4. Most important, never leave your keys with reception. They will remove your luggage without your permission and give it to other party though you have reserved for entire travel. I have a personal experience. They touched our personal belongings without out permission/consent. 5. No toiletries were provided in peak season, stock wasn’t available. Second time when we came they gave us used soap. 6. Staff is really good and food also. Inshort please avoid this property. You can get better options than this for sure. We regretted, you don’t.
