Extremely horrifying experience.
Renovation and construction work started around 9:30 in the morning, and my entire room was filled with the noise and vibrations of continuous drilling and hammering. The disturbance was so severe that it completely disrupted my morning and I ended up missing breakfast.
What I find particularly unacceptable is that the hotel assigned me a room on a floor where active renovation work was taking place. If construction was scheduled, the hotel should either have accommodated me on another floor or, at the very least, informed me before check-in. Instead, I discovered it when the drilling and hammering began in the morning.
I do not know whether the hotel is understaffed, the staff is exhausted, or there is simply a serious lack of coordination, but this reflects a significant failure in basic guest management.
This was not a minor inconvenience. For a hotel of this standard, putting a paying guest in a room affected by active construction without prior warning is simply unacceptable.
