I stayed at The Amayaa with my family for three days. We had booked two rooms. Overall, our stay was genuinely pleasant. The rooms were spacious, the property was well maintained despite its age, the pool was clean, the breakfast was good, and almost every member of the staff we interacted with was polite and professional. Unfortunately, the conduct of Ms. Ankita, a Front Office Associate, completely ruined our checkout experience and overshadowed all the hard work put in by the rest of the hotel staff. I have worked in the hospitality industry myself, and I understand that mistakes happen. However, what happened during our checkout was not simply poor service. It reflected a complete lack of empathy, professionalism, and basic hospitality etiquette. Our checkout was scheduled for Sunday. Beginning around 9:00 AM, Ms. Ankita started repeatedly calling our rooms asking whether we were checking out or extending our stay. We clearly informed her that we would be checking out. Instead of simply acknowledging that, she repeatedly pressured us to vacate the rooms immediately. The official checkout time displayed on Agoda and other booking platforms was 12:00 PM. Yet she repeatedly insisted that checkout was 11:30 AM and even told us that if we did not vacate by 11:30 AM, the hotel's system would automatically generate an extended-stay bill and we would have to pay extra charges. As someone who understands hotel operations, I knew this was simply not how hotel systems function. Nevertheless, assuming the hotel might have arriving guests waiting, I cooperated. I vacated one of our rooms well before time, shifted all our luggage into my parents' room, and personally informed the housekeeping supervisor on the floor so he could immediately begin servicing the vacant room. When I entered my parents' room, I found my mother suffering from a severe migraine attack. She was in considerable pain. Naturally, my priority became taking care of her while my fiancée packed the remaining luggage. At around 11:40 AM, while we were attending to my mother's medical condition, Ms. Ankita called yet again. Instead of asking whether everything was alright or showing even the slightest concern, she immediately began questioning why we had not yet vacated the second room. I politely explained the entire situation. I informed her that my mother was seriously unwell, that one room had already been vacated, and that we were in the process of leaving. She completely ignored everything I said. Instead, she continued repeating the same incorrect statement that we had to leave immediately or additional charges would be generated. When I informed her that one room had already been vacated, she began arguing with me and even questioned how, despite being a hotelier myself, I did not know that I should inform the front office. I explained that I had already informed the housekeeping supervisor who was physically present on the floor because my immediate concern had become my mother's health. Even then, there was no empathy, no understanding, and no attempt to assist. It genuinely felt as though her only objective was to push us out of the room at any cost, irrespective of the circumstances. The most disappointing part came during checkout. Even after we came down to the reception, instead of apologising for the repeated calls, the misinformation regarding the checkout timing, or even asking whether my mother was feeling better, Ms. Ankita continued arguing with us. There was no ownership. There was no empathy. There was no attempt to recover the situation. She ensured that the final memory we carried from an otherwise wonderful stay was one of frustration and disappointment. I want to make one thing very clear. This review is not against The Amayaa. In fact, I genuinely appreciate the efforts of the housekeeping team, the restaurant staff, engineering, and everyone else who contributed to making our stay enjoyable. This review is about one employee whose conduct completely contradicted the values of hospitality. If I may offer one suggestion to the hotel's management, it would be this: Hospitality is not about checking guests out of their rooms. Hospitality is about understanding people. A guest attending to his sick mother, while still well within the official checkout window, should never be repeatedly pressured, argued with, or misinformed simply to expedite a room turnaround. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously because one employee should never be allowed to undo the goodwill created by an entire team.

We had a visit to the restaurant yesterday, but the manager's behavior was quite surprising. He was unaware of the what language he needed to use, and he seemed to be a rather eccentric individual.kind of physo
