Once it was one of the most popular hotels in kolkata. but still an nice hotel to stay. Hotel is big and the rooms are also big and have all the basic amenities you expect from a 5 star hotel. Big Room, Nice Bathroom, large swimming pool. good breakfast, everything you expect from a nice hiotel are present there. Staff was also so helpful but they had some co ordination gap between them I guess. while booking, we requested to get the room decorated as the day we were checking in was my daughter's birthday. but at the time of check-in the reception staff told me that by mistake, they decorated a different room than mine. So I had to wait for a sometime to get my room decorated. luckily, they did it quickly. we also requested to serve us a small cake at the time of breakfast. but nothing was served at our table, while just before occupying the table we reconfirmed with the staff about the cake. at the end of the breakfast we again asked, why you didn't served the cake.. they said they were waiting for us to ask for the cake, while just before the brewakfast I asked the staff to serve us the cake. anyway I again got the cake and it was indeed nice. so technically no complaint about the service or amenities but yes the service staff had some co ordination gap. rest everything was good about the stay.

One of the best hotels that I have come across in India, and the breakfast buffet is an experience in itself. The amenities, including the pool and the gym, are also excellent. Location-wise, very strategically close to the airport as well as Howrah station.
