Bendesa Accommodation

The room is spacious and clean, the bathroom has hot water and works well, the towels are replaced clean every day. The pool is also clean and can be used even at night, because we always come home late at night.

shocked at the attitudes of the staff here. I only stayed one night and had 2 interactions with rude staff members 1) I had a plastic bottle of water and I asked the restaurant to refill. The women was confussed as she through the bottle away. She starts telling me I need to buy one. I said I’m not buying one I only wished to have it refilled. So I ask since she got rid of my bottle can I have another one. She laughs and says no water yeah - throws the water away and gives me the empty bottle. It seemed really petty to me. I wasn’t even there to get a free bottle of water I just wanted the one I had refilled in an attempt to minimise my plastic waste. Yet she felt like she needed to throw the water away. Very bizarre and not hospitable at all. Next I ask the man at the front desk if I can print off some travel documents. He says no they can’t. I ask where can I print some off. He says out there pointing to the road outside the hotel. I say ‘where out there’ and he gives me some vague directions. I go look where he said and there is nothing there. I go back and start to quiz him and he gets very defensive and argumentative. However, one nice encounter I had with a staff member named Enny - she lent me her plug for the night so I could charge my phone. Thank you! The hotel it’s self is fine. Nothing flashy. But unfortunately it’s staff let it down. So much for the Bali hospitality.

We stayed here as our first hotel as part of the Bali Intro tour. Friendly staff, good pool area. But rooms need updating, specifically the bathroom, this was unbearable. We were woken 2 morning but banging, before 9am. I wouldn’t chose to stay here if I was to book myself. But staff friendly, food and drink good.
