Bvlgari Resort Bali

Staying at the Bvlgari Bali was literally a perfect hotel experience. I have nothing to fault. I stayed with my husband here for 5 nights of our honeymoon - and it was the ultimate place to relax and turn our brains off, while enjoying Uluwatu’s nature and culture. Everything in the hotel room and the service is catered towards relaxation - you don’t need to turn on your brain. Every detail is thought of and curated. The electric toilet is heated and works seamlessly. There is a cushion with flip flops as soon as you stand out of bed. The fountain of water in the villa turns off at night and restarts in the morning so as not to bother you when you sleep. When we’re down at the beach and inform a waiter that we’ll move to the pool, we’ll reach the exit to somehow find a buggy to take us to the pool without us asking. The buggy drivers to our room would open the room doors for us. When we informed the lobby that we were heading to a certain area, we received a WhatsApp from our butler with recommendations for restaurants without having to ask. It is a hotel that does the thinking for you. It’s incredible. The Premier Ocean View Villa was beautiful. While some people said it was an old hotel, it’s as if it was built yesterday - the room was perfect without a flaw. The view was breathtaking. The pool was the perfect size. The indoor and outdoor showers were both well equipped and very nice (with the outdoor shower being a particularly nice experience). The greenery was gorgeous - the colors of the flowers against the blue ocean is a sensory experience itself. The room is well-equipped with lots of water bottles, espresso capsules, teas, and snacks that are constantly refilled. The room is also architecturally well-designed, thinking of every detail. You don’t end up having to look for a light switch or reaching out for anything because everything is just somehow conveniently placed. Despite being in a jungle area with lots of greenery, the villa was spotless. We didn’t see a single insect inside. We barely saw a mosquito outside. We could swim and eat outdoors comfortably with no worries. The rooms are also made up twice a day, leaving us refreshments and generous snacks each time. With all this luxury, the hotel isn’t divorced from Balinese culture. There were traditional flowers placed outside our room everyday. There’s a temple, where we enjoyed a Melkat Purification Ceremony with a priest. We also enjoyed a Banjar Walk (mostly on a buggy) through the local village, which was very informative. We saw temples, homes, and met a local fisherman. Our guide from the hotel was very helpful and friendly, and we saw his sister and friends along the way - it felt natural rather than curated. Ode was a great butler. He was genuinely curious and helpful the entirety of our stay. On our last day, my husband asked Ode about the hotel’s glassware and wear it was made as he’s interested in buying similar ones. Within the hour, Ode rang the door bell and gifted us a set of the glasses he liked! Unlike other luxury hotels in Bali, we felt like the butler and the staff actually cared and wanted to enhance our experience. And they were good at reading us - they were friendly without being overwhelming. There wasn’t a moment of discomfort. The beach is small and private. It’s very quiet - so not beach club-esque. But it feels like a haven. It’s very clean and particularly enjoyable when the tide is low in the morning. The nature surrounding it is breathtaking. The pool is also beautiful. And there are two small jaccuzis right down from the pool that are nice to enjoy solo or as a couple. There is 24/7 in-villa dining - which was nice when we could order Nasi Goreng at 2 am after our long flight and enjoy it by the pool late at night. The breakfast is available until 11 pm and we could order to our villa or enjoy it at the Sangkar Restaurant with an ocean view. The à la carte breakfast is great - every item we ordered was perfectly made. And the portions were very generous compared to the à la carte breakfast of similar 5-star resorts. They are generous with coffee and the fresh coconuts are so good. The Bvlgari Bar has a beautiful view of the ocean and the sunset. The Sangkar has very nice seafood. We didn’t try Il Ristorante as we were more interested in local foods. Even the airport pickup was great - they met us right off of the plane and even picked up our luggage for us. We had snacks and water in the car. And the check in was done at the villa so as not to trouble us at night. I could go on and on - it was an incredibly perfect stay and I left without a single criticism or negative moment. It was luxury without being tedious. The hotel experience was somehow both private and communal at the same time. The ultimate perfect honeymoon destination.

My wife and I spent two nights of our honeymoon at the Bulgvari in Uluwatu. It was a 10/10 experience from check in to check out. The grounds, amenities, and villas were all amazing and Putu and Wisnu both treated us phenomenally throughout the process for everything we needed. We were also granted an extremely late checkout which we were so thankful for given our late departing flight. Thanks again Putu and Wisnu, we really appreciate everything! We will be back.

Celebrated birthday and my after birth first trip at Bvlgari Hotel. Everything was so good and would like to thanks our butler Wisnu who served us. Would like to come again soon with my family ☺️
