Sari Beach

Sari Beach is no longer operating. The site is debilitated, pool is green and there is no one in attendance. Be aware they are still taking bookings. Photos on booking sites (Booking.com, Agoda etc) are from a by gone era. .................

Is these hotel even open? We went there yesterday, gates all boarded up, gardens a disaster, pool green! This is such a shame for this once beautiful hotel! Why are agents still showing as open?? Unbelievable!

We, as a family of two adults and three children were really looking forward to staying at this hotel. We contacted the hotel directly with our details and was VERY clear that we were five people and asked if we could stay in the same room. I got a confirmation with the price, date and one room. This, upon request was later on clearyfied that this included 2 adults and 3 children. Everything alright so far... A few weeks before arrival I revived another mail from Sari saying that since we were five people we had to pay extra for having a second bed (250'/bed) After an extended conversation they they gave me an offer having to pay 250.000 IDR per child. Our book two rooms. They totally ignored the fact that they already had confirmed both number of people, rooms and price. Maybe they did wrong in the first place, maybe not. But the fact that they decided NOT to honour our agreement we happily decided to book with a similar, but much more reliable accommodation instead.
