Taman Agung Hotel

We had a really great experience at Taman Agung. One thing worth mentioning is that the individual apartments can vary quite a lot, as many of them are privately rented. We initially stayed in an apartment booked through Airbnb that we were not completely happy with, and later moved to another Airbnb apartment within the same hotel complex – and that made a huge difference. If you get a good apartment, this is an absolutely fantastic place to stay. The hotel complex itself is beautiful, very well maintained and has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. It is especially great for families. We stayed here with our two children, aged 2 and 5, and really appreciated how peaceful and quiet it was. This is not a party hotel where you have loud music and noise late into the night, which was exactly what we wanted. The grounds are beautiful and clearly well cared for, and the staff were always kind, friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily stay at Taman Agung again – we would just make sure to choose the right apartment. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I loved this hotel,my first solo trip,I was pleasantly surprised by this gem. Central Sanur location. I requested a room change because or renovations a few rooms away and I was given a lovely room in the new section, absolutely perfect. They have 3 pools to choose from now. Gardens are very well maintained and are just what you want in Bali. Breakfast is absolutely fine, always something different to choose from the buffet and eggs done on request your choice. I plan on returning next year for longer stay.

The location is really convenient, a few minutes walk from the beach and restaurants, and the outdoor setting with the gardens is nice. On the other hand, we have been disappointed by several points. We had requested a room with a double bed, but had two single beds. The bathroom is old and deserves a good renovation. Breakfast is very basic, with little choice. On the pool side, the mattress pads are dirty and cracked, which spoils the relaxing Mood. In short, a decent hotel for a short stay, but that would need some improvement to be really comfortable.
