Bayshore Villas Candi Dasa

This is our fifth stay at Bayshore and we have stayed in all the accommodation offerings, from poolside suite, garden bungalow, superior villa, residence and now residence with private pool. I cannot find fault in any of the room types, they each provide everything we could want for a great holiday and that is why we keep returning. The manager Putu made sure we were looked after when we arrived two days earlier than scheduled. The staff are what make Bayshore, they all genuinely seem to be happy working here, it is a great reflection of the way the owner Brad runs his resort. It is an asset that the owner lives on site and spends time with the guests. The two pools are very well maintained and the addition of the day beds bring it up to another level of comfort. The grounds are stunning and are impeccably maintained. The food at the restaurant is of a level not reflected at other hotels, from breakfast to lunch and dinner it is all served with pride. Did I mention the desert board! The beach pathway is a great addition in my opinion, it has really opened up how you can get around in Candidasa and I can’t wait until it is finished. I highly recommend Bayshore to anyone thinking about staying there, you will not be disappointed.

We have written previous reviews regarding our stays to the Bayshore Residence and Villas in Candi Dassa. We returned yet again in July 26. Nothing has changed - its still as good as ever if not better (I dont know how they keep improving) It was busy this time with the central pool always popular. Pool lounges and the cabanas were in high demand but that is not a surprise given it was high season. This is the busiest we have ever seen the restaurant. Speaking to other guests they all said the same thing. The food was outstanding. You can tell its great food when no-one is talking :). The newish lounge area adjacent the restaurant continues to be a great place for drinks before or after dinner. Once again the staff were excellent. I guess we are biassed guests but when a resort ticks all the boxes its hard to go elsewhere when all your needs are not only being met but exceeded.

Very friendly and helpful staff a very nice resort. Luxury apartments, some with private pool. The food in the restaurants is delicious and we enjoyed the cocktails. The disadvantage of the apartments is that you hear traffic on the road next to them at night. Fortunately, there is no honking at night and hardly any honking during the day. So bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.
