Park View Heights Private Villas Hotel

We had high expectation from looking at the pictures but we were a bit disappointed when we arrived. The villa was huge with 3 bedrooms (each room had its own bathroom) and a private pool. The rooms was not too clean and really dark. The atmosphere was a bit scary. We also found a lot of bugs, e.g. ants, flies etc in the living room. The villa was far from the main area so you had to hire a car to go anywhere. There were hardly any food in the kitchen, the breakfast was average with toast and fried sausages, no alcohol was provided, the drink provided was only a cordial, no fresh juice whatsoever. You have to buy your own drinks and food from outside the villa, which we found very inconvenient because of the location. We stayed for 3 nights, and on the second night, the electricity went down so we had to call the housekeeper to come and fix it. The air conditioner on the main bedroom was not working after the electricity went down, so we moved to the other room (that was lucky for us because it was only me and my fiancee so we could move to the other room). The TV was tiny and did not work very well, blurry and hard to watch. We hired the villa driver for a day but they charged us a very expensive rate. With the same rate we could hire a car for 4 days in kuta. The driver was not friendly at all and hardy said a word. We were disappointed especially after we paid quite a bit of money to stay there and we regret that we stayed for 3 nights because after the first night i just wanted to move but we already paid the deposit. The only good thing about the villa was the swimming pool. I think this place will be great if you're 21 and stay with 10 of your friends, bring your own food and alcohol and get smashed (it's in a very quiet area). We don't recommend for couples at all.

These are private villas, almost sold out, with the few remaining ones being rented out as hotel accommodation. The rooms, bathrooms are huge and well furnished, the private pool and garden is lovely. Staff is friendly and helpful. However, the Indian Ocean is quite a distance away and we did not see the spectacular ocean view we expected. You also do need a car to get in and out from the villa. We had to pay a 50% deposit via bank transfer / remittance one month beforehand, to secure our booking of the villa. The hotel did not accept credit card payment, even upon arrival. I personally found this rather inconvenient. Other than these, we definitely have lovely memories of the place!
