We stayed at this resort for three nights. It has seen better days. The facilities are dated, which is fine given the price point. However, the main issue is the staff. Management and employees show little interest or pride in their work. Many of these issues do not require extra money—just a bit of care. The towels are no longer white, room cleaning is half-hearted, and the restaurant staff is absent-minded. With better options available in the area, I would recommend looking elsewhere for your stay.

Best location, beautiful garden, smiling staffs, and best price. What else can you expect?

Our stay was unfortunately very disappointing and not what we expected. On arrival, we were allocated a room where the benches, desk and bedside tables were covered in drink ring marks. The bathroom was in very poor condition, with mould covering the floor and extending around one metre up the walls. The basin was surrounded by mould, the floor was mouldy, and the bathroom had a strong sewage smell. I went to reception to request a room change but was advised nothing could be done until the following day. We were moved the next day to a room a couple of doors up. While this room still had mould in the bathroom, it was significantly better and at least liveable. The towels and bed linen were stained, and the bed was not even fitted with a proper top sheet that covered the mattress, leaving parts of the mattress exposed. Halfway through our stay, we returned from dinner to find the entire corridor flooded with sewage and a strong sewage smell throughout the hallway. To the hotel's credit, the staff worked through the night to repair the problem. The pool facilities were disappointing. There were not enough sun lounges or umbrellas for the number of guests using the pool, making it difficult to find somewhere to lie in shade. The pool itself had visible algae around the edges. The outdoor shower leaked for the 2 weeks stay. Pool service was slow, and overall customer service around the pool area was lacking. We had to take empty drink glasses and bottles to the pool bar and ask for dirty dishes to be taken. There were also only two tables near the pool bar, meaning guests wanting food had to either eat on a sun lounge or go to the restaurant. One positive was that the gardens were well maintained and added to the overall atmosphere of the resort. The large decorative garden pots, which contained stagnant water. Given the mosquito risk in Bali, this was disappointing and seemed like something that could be easily addressed through regular maintenance. Breakfast was average at best. The selection was acceptable, but the food in the bain-marie was often cold. Overall, the condition of the rooms, cleanliness, maintenance, and facilities fell well below our expectations. The hotel's location is excellent, and the staff were friendly and polite throughout our stay. Unfortunately, these positives were outweighed by the issues we experienced, and based on our overall experience, we would not choose to stay here again.
