Unfortunately before our stay in July 2026 we were not told that the villa next door was being demolished and rebuilt. This meant our trip was spent being woken up with the sun to jackhammers, demolition, drills and other construction noises. What we thought would be a relaxing holiday where we could lay by the pool and relax was clouded by constant noise. When we contacted the owners they thought that was fine and would not offer any compensation. When you spend 15000 on a holiday its extremely disappointing. The villa itself was lovely and Ayu and Eko were wonderful. There was no cushions on the lounge chairs or umbrellas by the pool but it was still really pretty. One thing to note is that you can't actually close up the villa so if you don't like bugs, or mozzies love you then perhaps find an alternate place to stay.

My husband and I stayed at Villa Elok (in villa Marche- 1 br villa) for 2 weeks late Sept/early Oct and loved it! Willy and his staff were amazing and so kind and considerate. They checked in with us every day to ask if they could do anything for us with regards to cleaning, arranging services etc. The villa was fantastic! So clean and well kept. An absolute gem for value. The private pool was great, as was the spacious lounge / dining / kitchen. The bedroom had so much storage we were able to fully unpack and really make the villa our home for 2 weeks and the outdoor bathroom was also huge. Elok is surrounded by many great restaurants and cafe's in addition to massage spa's etc. Further, it is only a short walk to Batu Belig beach. I took advantage of the local gym as did my husband and we ate regularly at Hog Wild, Strawberry Fields, Watercress and our favourite cafe Lugo was only a short stroll up the street. We are already excited about returning and we will definitely stay at Elok. Thank you Willy and team for an amazing experience.

Quiet location but easy walk to Batu Belig Beach (and to hotel bars and day clubs). Amazing pool, well maintained outdoor area. Kitchen well equipped, good A/C everywhere, clean and tidy rooms and bathrooms. We only stayed two nights so didn’t request housekeeping but the staff were lovely and responded to my WhatsApp messages promptly, thank you for the stay and your great service!
