Bagus Agro Pelaga

It makes me very sad to write this review because I stayed here for two weeks during my 300-hour yoga teacher training, and prior to this incident, I had a wonderful experience with the accommodations and many of the staff. Unfortunately, on the day I was checking out, I discovered that my entire jewelry pouch was missing from inside my backpack. It contained several valuable and sentimental pieces totaling approximately $31,000 USD. Throughout my two-week stay, my backpack remained inside my villa, and my jewelry stayed secured inside a pouch within the backpack. I never took the jewelry out or wore it during the training. I consistently locked my villa when I left, and aside from me, the only people I was aware of regularly entering the room were housekeeping staff. What has been especially upsetting is how the situation has been handled afterward. It has now been a week, and I have received very little support or acknowledgment from the resort. I have repeatedly been told that something like this has “never happened before,” but I have not even received a sincere apology for what occurred while I was staying on the property. I ultimately had to pursue the matter through the police myself. I also learned that there are no CCTV cameras around the villas or surrounding areas of the resort—only around the yoga shalas—so there appears to be no footage that could establish who entered or exited my villa during the relevant timeframe. There was a safe in my room, although I never used it because I genuinely felt safe and trusted the environment. Another guest also told me that the safe in her room did not have a battery and therefore could not be used. Beyond the financial loss, this experience has left me feeling deeply violated. Someone would have had to intentionally open my backpack, search through my personal belongings, locate the jewelry pouch, and remove it. Knowing that this may have happened inside the private space where I was sleeping and living for two weeks is incredibly unsettling. It has been particularly difficult to process because this happened during a yoga teacher training—a time and environment centered around trust, mindfulness, integrity, non-stealing (Asteya), and respect for others. I came here expecting to deepen my practice and feel safe within a wellness community. Instead, this incident has significantly affected the remainder of my time in Bali, including a trip I had planned afterward in Ubud. I am sharing this as a warning to future guests: regardless of how peaceful, welcoming, or safe a wellness resort may feel, please do not become complacent with your valuables. Do not bring anything you cannot afford to lose, use a functioning safe whenever possible, and continue to protect your belongings even in an environment where you feel completely secure. I truly wish my experience had ended differently because there were many beautiful aspects of my two weeks here, but what happened—and the response afterward—has unfortunately overshadowed much of that experience.

Very quiet place. Total disconnection. As usual excellent welcome. Limited choice at the restaurant and complicated wifi but we had not come for that. We were upgraded and were treated to a house with pool. Paradise

The Farm villas, of a very good standard, have an exceptional view of the valley and the Agung and Abang volcanoes. here reigns calm and serenity. The design and orientation of the villas, combined with the altitude, mean that air conditioning is unnecessary. Rama who manages the restaurant is very friendly. For the curious, the 'coco oil tour' is recommended Dewa showed us the property but also the surrounding countryside. Thanks to him. The only weak point is that the restaurant's menu is currently very limited; At our request, however, they prepared an excellent Balinese 'cap cai' for us.
