Sahadewa Resort & Spa

Chose a hotel in 5 minutes, the location is the most ideal that can be in Ubud, the very center. We spent 6 nights as part of a handset. We occupied a room next to terraced pool at the night bar. Be careful , the photos on their website are misleading. The room: - Is Balinese style - The bedding is of very poor quality despite the mattress top installed The sheets were torn and holed – The bathroom has no door - The room closes very badly and not hermetically - Toilet a simple curtain with questionable hygiene (multiple tasks) - Lack of maintenance in the sdb moisture problem and moldy smell, no flow in the shower, lukewarm or cold water - Coffee and tea are not renewed in the room The cups were dirty - No TV, mini bar, in-room wifi The hotel We have reported these disorders in vain. - Has no resort or spa (no more SPA since covid!) - Breakfast too simple and not qualitative: fruit juice in brick and slices of watermelons and melon (Bali has other more typical and cheap fruits: dragon fruit, pineapple, mango, papaya, passion fruit, salak, banana... - The pool is dirty with green and deposits all around and at the bottom of the pool - Many tiles around the pool are broken and unsealed making access dangerous - The pool shower does not work - Empty bottles of beer stayed around the pool for 5 days before being collected Our pool view room was very noisy because at 6am the 3 pool fountains are turned on again but especially the room is adjoining Melting Pot Saloon, a very frequented bar whose music rises crescendo until 3am. We did not sleep more than 3 hours. The city center is more than 1.5 km away. On foot it will take more than 25 minutes to walk due to the specificities of the sidewalks and the traffic specific to UBUB. Grab will take 1 hour one way. The hotel is in a street with many massage parlours, restaurants (rather American/Japanese/Mexican/Western) and small grocery stores

Very central location. Lovely breakfast. Rooms need some updating. Shower was awful. Hose from bath taps. No real pressure had run around to get wet. Wifi was absolutely appalling and that was before they moved the wifi station to suit my neighbour then I got nothing. No tv service. Value for money paid but would have preferred to pay more and get better wifi service .
