We were so happy to come to the The Menjangan for the 3th time in 4 years. We stayed for 5 nights in a beach villa. It was really relaxing to hear the waves so close from within our bed. The staf is very friendly and helpfull in any way they can. We had a medical problem that prevented us from going on a boat trip to Menjangan Island (a pity...) but we did a lot of snorkeling around the jetty of the resort and we saw beatifull fish, coral,.. even a huge cuttle fish. So: we are two happy people. 🙏🏻to everyone from the Menjangan. And a special thanks for guiding us through the hospital when we needed it.

Great quiet location. Lovely staff. Good food with vegan menu and always willingness to adapt dishes. The monkeys are quite clever. They can open the door unless you lock it. They also sometimes wait outside to run into the room. They are superfast at removing lid to where tea/coffee/snake fruit store. Seem to leave after they had emptied the food supply though. They will also look through bags on beach even if no food. Advise to keep room super tidy with belongings in cupboard in case they decide to take anything else. Take minimal items to beach. Beautiful deer wandering around the hotel grds/beach and some civets too. Snorkeling good off the beach

Our first lesson at this stunning retreat in West Bali National Park, don’t leave your door wide open! One particularly mischievous monkey decided he’d help himself to the snake fruit and lovely jar of biscuits the staff had left on our coffee table. I’m fairly sure he enjoyed them. Lesson 2, get used to some bumpy rides. Transport around the huge resort is via a double-decker safari-type van. We loved it but be sure to hold on. Lesson 3, get in early for the best seat in the Bali Tower for sunset drinks. Incredible views and delicious cocktails which you order downstairs before heading up four flights of stairs. This place is something really different in Bali. It looks and feels different but has just as much to give. There are plenty of activities including snorkeling, horseback riding and bird watching. Of course, you can always hang by the beach or pool.
