The Tanis Beach Resort Nusa Lembongan

Hotel close to Mushroom beach, which is also the arrival point of Sanur/Bali ferries. The beach is nothing extraordinary. The hotel can be reached by the beach. The staff is kind and smiling, as often in Indonesia. The room is spacious and the bed comfortable and large. The mosquito net is present but too small for the bed, so you will need crafty with clothespins to get a relative tightness. Fortunately, air conditioning and mosquito repellents are a good help. The bathroom, open is very nice, little pressure but the water is hot. The hotel is quiet, sometimes a little too much, you should know that restaurants no longer serve after 9pm! So it was on an empty stomach that I went to bed 😜🥹. I gave the score of 4/5 because of the lack of information about the closure of restaurants (the waiters brought me the menu around 8:45 pm but obviously didn’t want to work anymore, they left me alone for a long time, until I decided to go elsewhere, but... too late. And also for the mosquito net which is more a decoration than anything else. Both pools are nice, not much interest to have two, it would miss to put cushions on the deckchairs pools and offer some deckchairs on the beach. Breakfast à la carte, good. Massage available for 10 euros per hour.

Spent three days here, first visit ever to Lembongan. Resort is directly where boat lands so that was really good. Our rooms were garden bungalows. They are big and are in a lovely garden. The beds were really good. Really comfortable with gorgeous linen. Could have used better and more towels and face washers or hand towels would have been useful. The biggest issue we had was intermittent hot water and that the shower was really difficult to get to a suitable temp. It was either lava or freezing and hot water would run out because it would get used up as you were trying to just get it to a temp you could get under without burning yourself. The staff were helpful and attentive and the little Resto had super strong cocktails, yum milkshakes, good service although sometimes food could take a while. They did do good food. I recommend the Baha tacos, the tropical hot oatmeal and the green power bowl. Also the morning smashed avo on toast was awesome. The prices were really good too especially for accommodation. The pools were cool and clean and the kids had an absolute ball on the slide. All in all we had a great stay for a cheaper place so I can definitely recommend it.

We stopped in for a beach sunset dinner, the table and outlook was a perfect place to relax, service and food not so great. We had our first meal arrive 45 mins after ordering and our 3 meals were staggered meaning we ate seperate to each other, food was cold. Meals were expensive for dishes we ordered (BLAT, chicken parmigiana and grilled seafood stick)
