Grand Tjokro Klaten

This is Definitely NOT a 3-star hotel. This is Hotel Melati. Small TV, 6 channels, one bottle of water, dark dining room, limited breakfast and a very small room without window. All for $38 or Rp800.000. Location is good. People are nice especially the dining one and that's about it. Choose another hotel a bit farther and maybe you pay extra 60 cents for online car but it will be much much more worthwhile

Hotel in Klaten which has complete facilities, strategic location on the main road of Klaten city, close to the city square. Room service and breakfast variety OK, stayed 2 days at this hotel....

Bar advertised on several booking sites. But no bar available. Staff were disinterested. For example, we needed a driver - and in every other hotel, we get several recommendations. The reception staff said they didn’t know any driver. Rooms are mouldy. (See pics). Fixtures are falling off in the bathroom. Mirror in bathroom cracked. And towels that are hard and rough and smell vaguely of urine. Breakfast is served cold. The only positive side is that I had only one night in this horrible hotel
