Luwansa Beach Resort

While the staff were pleasant and the food was okay the hotel is in my view requiring serious updating. Our room was very basic, the safe deposit box was on the floor of a doorless wardrobe and I had to kill a few cockroaches. The beach front with its white sand was picturesque and very clean and looked pretty as did the gardens but the pool looked in need of a revamp.

We had to change hotels last minute, so we ended up in Luwansa beach resort for 3 nights. The hotel rooms are clean and beds are comfortable, unfortunately the ceiling around our AC unit was moldy and the room smelled of mold. There are many visible water leaks on the walls. The restaurant has inedible, overpriced food and there are birds and swarms of flies sitting on the food during breakfast. I peeked into the kitchen and wish I hadn’t, the conditions can definitely be considered a biohazard for tourists. However, the staff at the restaurant is very nice and accomodating, and the hotel has a nice access to the beach that we basically had for ourselves.

We had recently returned from a short stay at Luwansa Beach resort. The resort is in a good location not too far away from town and offers a fantastic viewing experience for the nightly sunset! The rooms are clean and comfortable and the food at the restaurant was enjoyable and well priced. Staff were always friendly and helpful. A good option for an overnight or lengthy stay!
