Thalassa Dive Resort

A truly unforgettable experience, from every point of view. The food is varied, excellent, and well-prepared: during our stay, we ate very well and really appreciated the variety of the offerings, even after several days. But what makes this resort truly special is the people. The entire staff is wonderful: smiling, helpful, attentive, and genuinely interested in making you feel good. It is easy to establish a personal relationship with them, and this makes the resort's atmosphere much warmer and more familiar than a simple tourist facility. And then there are the dives, which are simply exceptional. A level that, in our opinion, can easily compete with the best diving destinations in the world: spectacular seabeds, great variety, and encounters that make every dive something special. Another aspect that we really appreciated is the possibility of leaving the resort and discovering the surroundings, taking small trips and getting in touch with the local reality. It is a great way to alternate diving days with a bit of exploration. Ultimately, a place where you don't just stay: you truly feel welcomed and end up getting attached to the people and the place. We would absolutely go back.

We spent six wonderful days at Thalassa with my wife and our son, primarily to dive, and we could not have hoped for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, what struck us most was the incredible friendliness and dedication of the entire team. Everyone, without exception, is genuinely kind, attentive and eager to make your stay a fantastic experience. You quickly feel less like a hotel guest and more like a welcome friend. This exceptional hospitality really makes Thalassa special. The diving was excellent, and we took the opportunity during our stay to qualify for Enriched Air. The diving team was professional, attentive and always focused on safety while making the whole experience enjoyable. There was also a resident marine biologist, extremely knowledgeable and passionate from whom we learned a lot about the local marine life. We also took advantage of the location to discover more of North Sulawesi. The Manado city tour was an incredible experience, giving us a fascinating glimpse of the local culture and life (our guide is passionate and the ride in the blue bus is a must !) . And for those who enjoy hiking, the Mount Tumpa right next to the resort is a gem: the views, particularly at sunset, are spectacular. Another highlight for us was the dining experience. The cuisine is much more refined than you might expect from a diving resort. We particularly enjoyed the perfect balance between western cuisine and traditional Indonesian dishes, with fresh ingredients and a genuine taste of North Sulawesi. The resort itself is beautifully integrated into its lush tropical surroundings, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere after a day of diving or hiking… But ultimately, it is the people who make Thalassa. Their warmth, professionalism and genuine desire to make you happy transform a very good resort into a truly memorable experience. We left after six days feeling that we had not simply stayed at a hotel—we had been welcomed into a wonderful community. A big thank you to the whole Thalassa team for an unforgettable family experience. We would happily come back and highly recommend Thalassa to anyone looking for great diving, beautiful nature, excellent food and, above all, exceptional hospitality.

In a very nice but quiet place located resort between the forests, you feel like you are in the middle of the jungle. What a warm welcome at this beautiful resort. Nothing should and everything is allowed, everything is arranged for you, you just have to ask and it will be arranged. We have been present for 19 days spread over the resort on Lembeh and Manado. Super accommodations, and very spacious. The food was prepared by a chef and every day there was something different on the menu. The resort is equipped for relaxing but also for diving, and wow what a beautiful place to dive. All these ingredients make this holiday an unforgettable 3 weeks. The holiday was just perfect, partly because of the commitment of all the staff, you just feel at home there. Their slogan is really correct.......you come as a guest and go as a friend. A lot of respect for how the local population but also nature is treated. A resort with huge local involvement. We have closed Everyone in our hearts. We hope to meet the hell team again next year to create even more memories. So if you want to go to North Sulawesi, this is the place.
