Top service, great bath and sun. Do you want a quiet and pleasant holiday with the family? So this is the place in Indonesia. We booked via booking 5 months in advance. Good combination with a few days in Singapore. Short ferry from Singapore City. We were there from late June until July 9. 2 adults, 2 boys at 13 and a girl at 17. Everyone has been very happy with the stay. Incredibly accommodating, hospitable and very professional service. Opportunities for lots of activities as well. Price is right in the middle of the tree. We had a tight budget, and it lasted. Surprisingly, there were so few guests during the period we were there. So you like little people around you. So we would strongly recommend this. We thought it was getting boring in the evening. Missed any entertainment or opportunities for games after 8:00 p.m. When we had youth with us. Possible with plenty of activity during the day. We experienced a lot of rain and clouds. But it was actually a little good. Hadde gets very burned show not.

How to Lose Repeat Customers As a repeat guest who has stayed at Nirwana Gardens Resort six times, this was by far my most disappointing experience—and unfortunately, the most telling in terms of service standards. The issue began with a simple and clearly communicated request: non-spicy food for my children. Despite this, the dishes served were spicy and completely unsuitable. This is not a minor detail—I have children with specific dietary sensitivities, and I made it a point at every meal to emphasize that the food must not be spicy. Despite this, the request was ignored. When I rejected the dishes, the replacement offered was not even comparable to what was ordered—an unmarinated chicken breast instead of the chicken wings we had specifically requested. At that point, my wife had no choice but to order fries and pizza because the children were already hungry. At a resort where food is known to be expensive, having to order additional items just to replace incorrectly prepared dishes is unacceptable. What followed was a cascade of poor service recovery. My children’s dinner was delayed by approximately 1.5 hours. By the time the replacement food finally arrived, the BBQ fire had burned down to waning embers, and the chicken wings were dry and tasteless—completely undermining the entire BBQ experience that we had paid for. When I requested to speak with the F&B manager, I was told he would arrive within 10 minutes. He showed up 25 minutes later—by then, it was already over an hour since the BBQ fire had been started—bringing chicken wings and fruit far too late to meaningfully resolve the situation. Approximately two hours after the incident began, the duty manager arrived, but was clearly not equipped to handle the situation and admitted he had no clear understanding of what had happened. By that point, I had already rejected the food, arranged alternatives, and effectively given up on salvaging the experience. Despite this, I was still being offered inappropriate replacements while the bill continued to grow, and no one appeared to have a coherent grasp of the situation. The next morning, the situation deteriorated further when escalated to the Director of Operations. I declined the 50% discount, as the entire BBQ experience had already been ruined. Instead of addressing the issue constructively, he insisted that his internal investigation showed I had never requested non-spicy food—effectively accusing me of being untruthful. This was both unreasonable and deeply inappropriate. Throughout this process, it was evident that the matter was not being meaningfully escalated at each level. At every step, the response felt defensive rather than solution-oriented, resulting in consistently poor service recovery and unnecessary friction instead of resolution. I repeatedly requested to escalate the matter to the General Manager, Walid, but was not given access and was instead left to deal solely with the Director of Operations. Lastly, while I was preoccupied with settling the bill, the Director of Operations informed my wife—rather than addressing me directly—that we were no longer welcome at the resort. I only became aware of this later, on the bus to the ferry terminal. This was handled in a manner that lacked transparency and professionalism, and raises further concerns about accountability and leadership. While the bill was eventually waived, the overall handling of the situation—from the initial error to the refusal to properly escalate and the manner of communication at the end—was deeply disappointing. For a resort of this reputation, the inability to execute a basic request is concerning—but the greater issue is the systemic failure in communication, accountability, and service recovery. Based on this experience, I would seriously reconsider returning, and would caution others to carefully consider expectations around dining reliability and management responsiveness here. :::

This resort offers a wonderful and relaxing getaway experience. The staff are very helpful, friendly, and always with a warm smile. The rooms are clean and comfortable, making the stay pleasant. The swimming pool is indeed beautiful with a poolbar concept. Due to moonsoon, the tide was quite strong but still, the beach bay was beautiful, and perfect for unwinding. The breakfast was a decent one but personally prefer if the indo-mee section could have a dry mee option, as mixing the fresh salad veggie, coconut chicken meat, sausage, and sunny up egg, will be an almost perfect meal. Do also try out their Burger n Pizza too. For the kelong seafood, expect to see eagle dives gracefully to catch its prey on the surface of the water, and also be accompanied by Doulus Phos. A truly harmony of flavor and nature. Overall, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy. Room types - low price for garden view mid price for sea view high price for sea view with balcony Internal bus route - lobby, spa bowling, beach surfing, spice restaurant, mayang sari resort, kelong seafood
