Ciater Spa Resort

Ciater Hot Springs is the perfect place to unwind after exploring the cooler highlands around Bandung. The natural hot water flows directly from the nearby volcano, so the pools are rich in minerals and wonderfully warm—especially refreshing in the mountain air. The setting is green and calming, surrounded by tea plantations, which adds to the charm. The facilities are quite varied: there are public pools, private pools, and even small spots where you can dip your feet if you don’t want to swim. Families will appreciate the kid-friendly areas, while couples or solo travelers can find quieter corners. That said, Ciater can get very crowded on weekends and holidays, and the maintenance of some areas isn’t always perfect. The entrance fee is reasonable, but certain sections or private pools may cost extra. Still, soaking in the hot springs after a day of hiking or visiting Tangkuban Perahu is a memorable experience—relaxing, soothing, and a nice contrast to Bandung’s busy city vibe.

Our intention was to experience a hot spring. On Google Maps, it seems that there is a common entrance to the hot springs through Sari Ater Resort. We paid an entrance fee of ~125k for 4 people. We visited during Ramadan period and there was nobody else. Sari Ater Resort actually functions as a theme park with a wide range of activities. Ciater Spa Resort is about a 15 minute walk from the entrance of Sari Ater Resort, one of a few hot spring options within the facility. We paid 40k entrance fee per person for Ciater Spa Resort. Facilities a bit old but sufficient. Some insects inside the hot spring water as well as ants on the chairs surrounding the pool. Overall, worth a visit. Do note that ride-hailing applications such as Go-Jek and Grab can take you to Sari Ater Resort, however, Go-Jek does not serve this area while we could not be matched to a Grab after 15 minutes of waiting. Do arrange your transport beforehand if possible.

This property are quite old... The only good things is private hot spring pool Besides retaurant was very disturbing because there are maintanance, but i think they can work after breakfast hours Breakfast very simple with fried rice, bihun, and spicy chiken in buffet menu Simple fruit and tea coffe Toilet tool are quite old For president suite and bunhalow suite, tv only 32 inch Over all, this location good for relaxing but price are expensive enough for old property...
