Royal Merdeka

I stayed in the hotel for 3 days 2 nights at standard room with street view for family vacation. The room has enough space for us and the bathroom has bathtube and hot water, though we have to wait several minutes to do a second flush in the toilet. Even though the furniture looks quite old but it is still comfortable. The breakfast is simple yet not dissapointing. But, if u aren't local tourist like us you maybe have to adapt with the traditional food they served. They dont have swimming pool, the lobby is very simple and not very attractive, but when my family stay there we just feel comfortable. The hotel is not very attractive but they had quite a lot of certificate in the wall for their achievement years ago (the oldest one i saw dated in 1960s). Well, the hotel maybe was a great hotel formerly and i will choose to stay again at this hotel among other 2stars hotel.

First time I stayed in Royal Merdeka Hotel, I went with my family. And, it was terrible impression. The old building with old facilitation like the lamp, air conditioner, and even the bathroom DOOR was crash!!! The door CANNOT be closed! What a terrible things I found there. And the breakfast? I am not expecting more when I know many things crash. I was not feel good for one night there. The price is not reasonable for the service. But, the hotel is in strategic place in Bandung.

Quite old hotel thought but room was clean and price also fair. anyhow this hotel sit on main road jalan merdeka that busy traffic going on everyday. you can visit bandung indah plaza mall by walking distance may be take 5 minutes. Taxi very easy to get. breakfast adequate for me to start my activity.
